Strength and Determination for a Classic Triumph!

The Stochampionat is the ultimate test of strength for four-year-old mares over 2,640 metres and Axevalla’s thrilling long stretch.

It is an honour to reach the final, and Menhammar-bred and Stall Segerhuva-owned {Great Knowledge} did so by impressively winning her heat for trainer Björn Goop. {Great Knowledge} showed both strength and determination, but it’s also in her genes. Her great-grandmother A Gift From Heaven is the dam of {From Above}!

{Great Knowledge}’s little brother {Judgemental} (e. San Moteur) will be sold at Menhammar OnlineSales on 17 August.

Sunday’s Stochampionat offers 2.4 million SEK to a premium-rated horse, and we are also keeping an extra finger crossed for Elegance Silvio (e. {Maharajah}), S.G.Empress (e. {Readly Express}), and Ebba Kuce, who is from {Who's Who}’s first crop. Ebba Kuce could be unique as her dam Drillbit Ås won the Stochampionat in 2012, and never before in the race’s 55-year history has a winning mare produced a winner!
