Top-Level Racing with Undefeated Young Horses

Margaretas Tidiga Unghästserie brightens an outstanding day at Solvalla with STL finals, where the C Th Ericssons Memorial offers top-class entertainment.

Can this winter’s winning machine Stens Rubin (e. {Readly Express}) challenge the established big race horses Mellby Jinx and High On Pepper?

Margaretas Tidiga Unghästserie begins with the three-year-old fillies, where undefeated Kobra Brick (e. {Readly Express}) will face off against the also undefeated Marilyn Sisu. Challengers include Steady Countess (e. {Maharajah}) and the elegant Time To Run (e. {Who's Who}).

The four-year-old fillies offer top-class racing with last year’s E3 winner S.G.Empress (e. {Readly Express}) making her seasonal debut. Competition is strong with top contenders such as Screen Time Limit, Beedrill, Ready To Run H.C. (e. {Nuncio}), and Menhammar-bred Oaks third-placer {Great Pride} (e. {Maharajah}) returning to the track.

The four-year-old colts are part of the V75 betting pool, where the Menhammar-bred duo {Great Dry Wind} (e. {From Above}) and {Golden Sunrise} (e. {Readly Express}) had no luck in the draw. Kriterium runner-up Walmann makes his seasonal debut from a perfect draw.

The day concludes with the three-year-old colts and geldings, where undefeated Menhammar-bred {Barkley} will try the starting car for the first time. Also undefeated is Glorias Malik (e. {Who's Who}), with opponents including Menhammar-bred {Hit Or Miss} (e. {Nuncio}).

In the STL finals, Travkompaniet’s {Great Ruler} (e. {Maharajah}) has qualified in Class II. The horse was bred by Menhammar, as was {Great Game}, owned by Stall Segerhuva, who is one of the rivals chasing a quarter of a million kronor.

Saturday at Solvalla is best described as the best race day of the year so far – with the very best that Swedish trotting has to offer for the season!
