Menhammar OnlineSales 2025 Kicks Off Jubilee Week at Solvalla

This year, we’re moving our auction to Sunday, 17 August, instead of holding it during the second week of July as in previous years. Our aim is to enhance the experience of Solvalla’s Jubilee Day and to coordinate auctions with top-class trotting. As usual, Menhammar OnlineSales 2025 will be an online auction hosted on the web. Our horses—around 60 yearlings—will be shown at Menhammar Stud on Tuesday, 12 August, and again on Sunday, 17 August, ahead of the auction.

Jitterbug and Joint Effort

The Menhammar OnlineSales auction premiered in 2020, when the pandemic halted physical auctions. Over the past five years, Menhammar’s yearlings have gone under the virtual hammer in July, right in the middle of summer. We enjoyed the thought of our auction horses grazing peacefully in summer pastures while the sale itself was conducted online.

To honour the memory of Margareta Wallenius-Kleberg, Solvalla renamed the main race on Jubilee Day as the Margareta Wallenius-Kleberg Trophy. Menhammar’s and the Wallenius Lines’ involvement and cooperation with Solvalla on Jubilee Day have since grown even stronger. We now want to add another trotting experience in the days leading up to the big event, which is why we’re moving our yearling auction, Menhammar OnlineSales 2025, to the evening of Sunday, 17 August, the Sunday before Jubilee Day.

Upcoming Trotting Highlights Leading Up to Jubilee Day:

  • Tuesday, 12 August: Viewing of Menhammar OnlineSales 2025 yearlings at Menhammar
  • Tuesday, 12 August: V64 racing at Solvalla
  • Saturday, 16 August: Åby’s Grand Prix (Gr 1, International)
  • Sunday, 17 August: Final yearling viewing at Menhammar and Menhammar OnlineSales 2025
  • Tuesday, 19 August: Solvalla Yearling Sale – yearling show and live auction at Solvalla
  • Wednesday, 20 August: Solvalla Jubilee Day featuring MWK’s Trophy (Gr 1, Int), European Championship for Mares (Gr 1, Int), and STL Finals
