Prix d´Amérique 2025

The Prix d'Amérique is one of the world's largest and most prestigious trotting races, and one of the favorites in Sunday's race is San Moteur, a son of Panne de Moteur, who is stationed at Menhammar as a breeding stallion.

Panne de Moteur External link., now one of Menhammar's breeding stallions, is based at Granskog. Born in 2008, he won numerous races as a 4- and 5-year-old, amassing prize money of nearly 9,000,000 SEK.

In Panne de Moteur's second crop, we find the superstar San Moteur, who continues to go from strength to strength. After finishing second in the Kriterium, third in the Derby, and winning the Jubilee Trophy with a world record time of 1.09.7a/2,140 meters, he also claimed victory in last year's Paralympiatravet and Prix de Bourbonnais.

In addition to these achievements, he finished second in the 2024 Elitloppet and is considered one of the world's best horses. He is owned and was bred by Håkan Arvidsson and others. San Moteur was stationed as a breeding stallion at Menhammar two years ago, and this year Menhammar has seven yearlings by him.
